I was playing up the teenage-crush aspect for humor.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I think you are suffering from something of a selection effect. Sure I read Wil's blog, and he's famous. I also read Chris Pirillo's and Julia Sweeney's, and they are famous as well.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I also read two dozen &lt;I&gt;other&lt;/I&gt; blogs from people who are not famous. I read blogs that touch on my interests and/or are well written. If someone is famous I am more likely to hear about their blog, which makes it easier to find. I quote from many different sources and quoting him once in over 1500 posts doesn't seem like I worship the guy, he just said what I was thinking and had posted about before.  Why does the campaign have to take two years?  You probably didn't notice that he isn't on my blogroll or listed as one of my sources.  The timing was right,  I was fed up and it fit.
